Thanksgiving in Tahoe

All bundled up and ready to play outside
 Snow! Which Zeke calls "ICE!"
 Playing in the backyard
Yummy, Zeke LOVES to eat snow.
Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is a backyard with snow and fallen trees!
At the airport; Zeke did really well on the flights home.  He made a good friend with an old man in a wheelchair.  (Dear Santa, P.S. I want a wheelchair too)
Auntie Jen and Uncle Mark

My camera died for most of the trip.  Jen - send me pictures of the playground!

Knotts Berry Farm

Zeke did not want to meet Snoopy.
 Riding the train.
Zeke couldn't get enough of the horses!  Too bad Knotts doesn't have a petting zoo any more.  We rode the Stagecoach a couple of times so Zeke could watch the horses.

Eating lunch in the picnic area outside of the park.  There were chickens and roosters all over the place.  Zeke liked chasing them and throwing them food.  They were friendly birds.

Zeke was onstage with a musical instrument.  He wasn't ready to give it back when the song ended though.

He liked driving the car.  Knott's was a great theme park for Zeke - it's just the right size.  Zeke's favorite ride (after the stagecoach) was the jumping pen.  It was a big inflatable trampoline. Zeke jumped on this for 15 minutes then 15 minutes later we were in the car and he was fast asleep.  I see why families invest in the inflatable jump houses for the backyard now!

Finally, our leaves are falling!

Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!
Here is our Hersey Kiss.  Since Zeke is too young to go Trick or Treating we had a passing out candy party in the front yard.  Becky sat by the firepit in her clown outfit to dole out candy.  Our neighborhood is packed with kids and after a couple of hours we did run out of candy.
Mini Carmel Apples - delicious!

Misc. Summer Pictures

Cal Poly Pumpkin Patch

Zeke liked the pumpkin patch; had a very hard time picking out a pumpkin. He needed to inspect ALL of them.

Zeke and his wheelbarrow

He figured out how to transport water in his wheelbarrow. Now he can make mud puddles!

September trip to Grandma and Grandpa's

I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures from last month's trip to Grants Pass. I didn't manage to take a group photo; I'm going to work on that at future occasions. Here is mom's bountiful garden.

Zeke exploring with Uncle Mark

The tire swing!

Shovels are useful things...

Zeke still hasn't figured out a need for those pedals.

Working on his balance in Grandpas shop.

You know he's concentrating when he gets his tongue out!

Proof that kids don't need fancy toys; just big backyards and a dog!
